History of Diadumenian 218 AD

Diadumenian was 8 years old when he was elevated to the rank of Caesar in 217 and in 218 to the rank of Augustus by his father Macrinus. After only one month as co-Augustus, Macrinus and Diadumenian were defeated by Elagabalus. Diadumenian fled towards the Bosporus to take shelter with the Parthians, but was caught and executed.
